What is Tom Swift about?

Tom Swift has remodeled his old airplane to make it faster. He wants to take it for a test flight with his friend Ned Newton. When testing the engine, it produces thick smoke that causes Ned and others to cough. Tom adjusts it so it runs more smoothly. He plans to do further tests, then take the airplane up for its first flight with the modifications. N
