Isolates from soil samples were tested for their ability to produce indole-3-acetic acid (IAA), a plant hormone. The amount of IAA produced by each isolate after 5 days of growth was measured. Isolate F6 produced the highest amount of IAA at 56.3 μg/ml, while isolate F2 produced the lowest amount at 12.1 μg/ml.
