What is Hygroscopy of Clay Materials about?

This bachelor thesis investigates the hygroscopic properties of clay-based geopolymer materials, particularly their moisture buffer values (MBV) in relation to 3D printing processes. Due to technical issues with the 3D printer, printed samples could not be produced, but comparisons were made between various earth and conventional building materials. The thesis also aims to establish a standardized procedure for conducting the Nordtest and other climate chamber tests at ETH Zurich.
