About this document
Turkish Alphabet Overview by Anyi is a document available to read on EtoBox.
The Turkish alphabet consists of 29 letters including 6 additional letters not found in the Latin alphabet. Most Turkish letters are pronounced similarly to their English counterparts, with a few exceptions such as "ğ" which can lengthen vowels or be pronounced as "y". Turkish uses personal pronouns and suffixes to indicate "I am", "you are" etc., with suffixes changing based on the last vowel of the noun or adjective and whether the statement is positive or negative.
