About this document

Dermoscopic Indicators of Melanoma Thickness by barbara liuva chia policarpo is a document available to read on EtoBox.

This study analyzed 245 dermoscopic images of cutaneous melanoma to identify patterns and colors associated with tumor thickness. Key findings indicate that certain colors and structures, such as red-pink and blue-gray, are linked to thicker melanomas (≥0.8 mm), while atypical pigmented networks and regression are more common in thinner melanomas (<0.8 mm). The results suggest that dermoscopy can aid in distinguishing between thin and thick melanomas, potentially impacting treatment decisions.
