This document summarizes a case report of a rare occurrence of Salmonella Typhi causing septic arthritis of the knee. An 80-year-old male presented with acute pain and restricted movement in his right knee. Testing of joint fluid aspirate revealed Gram-negative bacilli identified as Salmonella enterica subspecies enterica serovar Typhi.
