What is Gradient RSSI Filter for Wireless Networks about?

The document presents a gradient RSSI filter and predictor to improve wireless network connectivity. It describes existing RSSI filtering techniques like the Grey Model and Kalman filter that smooth RSSI variability over time. The proposed gradient filter considers non-linear mobility patterns and signal strength variations, including "holes" of low connectivity. An experimental evaluation shows the gradient filter better supports brief disconnections compared to other methods. The filter can simplify netwo
