About this document
USC Contour Crafting: Advanced Fabrication by Bhavesh Khalse is a document available to read on EtoBox.
Contour Crafting is an additive construction method that builds structures by depositing materials layer by layer using a large robotic nozzle and trowels. It aims to automate construction and allow for on-site or remote construction of buildings. The method was developed by Behrokh Khoshnevis at the University of Southern California. It uses cementitious materials but can also be adapted to deposit thermoplastics or ceramics layer by layer under computer control to build a wide variety of structures.
