Can I read A Highly Sensitive and Selective Method for the Extraction-spectrophotometric Determination of Cobalt on EtoBox?

A Highly Sensitive and Selective Method for the Extraction-spectrophotometric Determination of Cobalt by Omar Baudino; Carlos B. Marone is a Chemistry article available to read on EtoBox.

What is A Highly Sensitive and Selective Method for the Extraction-spectrophotometric Determination of Cobalt about?

The method is based on the highly sensitive reaction between cobalt and 4-(5-bcomo-2-pyridylazo)-1,3\_diaminobenzene. The cationic complex in slightly acidic solution is quantitatively extracted into chloroform as an ion pair with anthraquinone sulfonate; interfering ions are retained in the aqueous phase by selected masking agents. The cobalt complex is then rapidly backextracted into 2.4 M HCI and measured at 573 nm (c = 1.16 x 10' 1 mol-' cm-').

Who reads A Highly Sensitive and Selective Method for the Extraction-spectrophotometric Determination of Cobalt?

It is typically read by researchers, students, and practitioners in Chemistry.
