About this document

Understanding Hills: Definitions & Facts by Andre Tambayong is a document available to read on EtoBox.

A hill is a landform that extends above the surrounding terrain and often has a distinct summit, though areas with steep slopes may not. A hill can also refer to a section of flat terrain without a massive summit, such as Box Hill in Surrey. The largest hill in the world is Cavanal Hill in Poteau, Oklahoma, USA, which stands 1,999 feet tall, just short of being classified as a mountain.
