## Abstract Biologische Brennstoffzellen sind aktuell in Theorie und Praxis des schulischen Chemieunterrichts stark unterrepräsentiert. Es wird nachfolgend ein Schulversuch zu einer enzymatischen Brennstoffzelle im Kurzportrait vorgestellt. Dieses ist einfach und schnell aufzubauen und liefert reproduzierbar didaktisch prägnante Ergebnisse, die ein qualitatives Erschließen der Funktionsweise erlauben. Der Aufbau besticht durch die Verwendung kostengünstiger Materialien wie Filterpapierstreifen, Aktivkohle, Tensid, Lactase(‐Tabletten) und Lactose.
