What is Student Bullying and Cyberbullying Stats about?

One in five students reported being bullied. Of those, 13% were called names or insulted, another 13% had rumors spread about them, while 5% were pushed or spit on and another 5% were intentionally excluded. Reports of cyberbullying were highest among middle school students at 41%, followed by high school and primary school students. The percentage of students experiencing cyberbullying has more than doubled from 18% to 37% between 2007 and 2019.
