This case report describes a 36-year-old female patient who presented with a cough for one month and trichoptysis (expectoration of hairs). Imaging revealed a mass in her right lung. She underwent a right posterolateral thoracotomy where a firm mass was removed from her right middle lobe. Histopathology found the mass to be a benign mature teratoma. Intrapulmonary teratomas are extremely rare germ cell tumors that can originate from thymic or ectopic lung tissue. Surgical resection is the recommended treatm
