The study analyzes the impact of solar PV penetration on the stability of the Peusangan 1–2 Hydroelectric Plant in Aceh, using data from January to June 2023. A dynamic model was developed in DIgSILENT PowerFactory and validated with SCADA data, focusing on the effects of different PV penetration levels on voltage and frequency responses. Additionally, the research aims to design a passive cooling system with a hydrophobic nano-coating to enhance the efficiency of PV panels in tropical climates.
