A symmetrical 3-phase fault was applied between Bus8 and TR-00 Reduccion adjacent to Bus8. This caused several protective devices to operate including relays IPT-PP00, IPT-PP01, IPT-SA01, IPT-PP02, IPT-SA07, IPT-SA04, IPT-SA06, IPT-SA02, IPT-SA03, IPT-SA05, IPT-SB-03, IPT-SB01, IPT-SB02, and ITP-PP03. The fault was cleared as the relays sensed fault current exceeding their pickup thresholds and tripped their respective circuit breakers within 30 seconds.
