In 2003, Arida filed a sworn statement alleging that Orquinaza kissed her and touched her breast while she was napping at work. The police referred the case as sexual harassment to the prosecutor. After a preliminary investigation, the prosecutor determined there was no sexual harassment but filed an information charging Orquinaza with acts of lasciviousness instead.
