What is Weldolet vs Sweepolet in Pig Traps about?

The document discusses the use of weldolet versus sweepolet fittings in pig trap nozzles. Several participants in the discussion recommend weldolet for typical pig trap applications, as they are more common and suitable for smaller diameters. Sweepolet is suggested for larger diameters over 4 inches or for very high pressure systems where a standard tee would not be suitable. Weldolet and sweepolet provide similar functions but sweepolet is available in larger diameters. More information on the differences
