The paper aims at presenting how a HDS consisting of two sub-systems may be embedded into an elliptic curve. We are interested in finding a p-adic scalar dynamical system as an equivalent dynamics to the HDS, in the sense that the switching times of the HDS are exactly described by the scalar dynamical system. By making the time variable implicit, we embed the HDS into a planar curve, on which is acting a group structure. The group structure is correlated to the dynamics of the monitor functions, hence it is expected to flawlessly describe the switching time instants.
