The Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) makes undocumented migrants of Hindu, Sikh, Buddhist, Jains, Parsis and Christian religious minorities from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, and Pakistan eligible for fast-tracked Indian citizenship if they entered India on or before December 31, 2014.
