It has around 150 million adherents primarily in Southeast Asian countries like Myanmar, Thailand, and Sri Lanka. The key beliefs of Theravada Buddhism center around the Four Noble Truths and Noble Eightfold Path that were taught by Buddha as a means to end suffering.
