Olga of Kiev was a princess and later regent of Kievan Rus in the 10th century. After her husband Igor was killed by the Drevlians tribe, Olga took brutal revenge by tricking and killing Drevlian ambassadors and soldiers. She then laid siege to the Drevlian city of Iskorosten for over a year before deceiving the residents and burning the city to the ground.
