The Election Commission of India has lifted the Model Code of Conduct following the declaration of results for the General Elections in Assam, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, and Puducherry, as well as various bye-elections. The Code will remain in effect only for the 144-Falta Assembly Constituency in West Bengal, where fresh polling has been ordered. This notification is directed to relevant government officials and electoral officers for their awareness and action.
