This study examines how ethical leadership and coworker behavior influence employee unethical behavior that benefits the organization. It investigates the mediating role of moral disengagement in the relationship between leadership and such behavior, and the moderating effect of coworker conduct on these relationships. Data from 251 employee-coworker pairs across time suggest leadership decreases unethical conduct via less moral disengagement, an effect weakened by ethical coworker behavior.
