This study describes the clutches, tadpoles, and advertisement calls of two species of small, burrowing frogs, Synapturanus mirandaribeiroi and S. cf. salseri, found in central Amazonia, Brazil. Both species lay terrestrial eggs and their tadpoles hatch at a late developmental stage. The tadpoles and clutches of the two species are similar in size and appearance.
