What is Ipsos Reuters Poll: Election Tracking 2012 about?

An Ipsos poll conducted online from October 12-16, 2012 surveyed 2,252 American registered voters and 1,846 likely voters. The poll found that among likely voters, 46% would vote for Barack Obama and Joe Biden, the Democrats, while 43% would vote for Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan, the Republicans. Among registered voters, the results were 46% for Obama/Biden and 41% for Romney/Ryan. Most respondents from all groups had definitely decided who to vote for, and only about 10% had already voted.
