This document analyzes the amount and age of productive female Bali cattle slaughtered at two large abattoirs in Bali Province, Indonesia. The study examined 478 head of Bali cattle, with 246 from Pesanggaran abattoir and 232 from Mambal abattoir. The results showed that 81.7% at Pesanggaran and 87.5% at Mambal were female. Further analysis found that 99% of females slaughtered at Pesanggaran and 67.49% at Mambal were of productive age. This high level of slaughter of productive females threatens the future
