What is Quality of Life in HIV Patients in India about?

This study assesses the quality of life (QOL) of people living with HIV (PLWH) in Puducherry, India, focusing on factors influencing their QOL. Results indicate that psychological and spirituality/religiousness/personal beliefs domains were the most affected, with younger age, female gender, rural background, and greater HIV-related stigma identified as high-risk factors for poor QOL. The study suggests that interventions like antiretroviral therapy and social support could improve the QOL of PLWH.
