This study evaluates the performance of heat insulation solar glass (HISG) compared to ordinary glass in curtain wall applications in Taiwan. HISG demonstrated superior thermal insulation, blocking 100% of ultraviolet light and reducing heating and cooling demands by up to 46.9%, while also improving lighting efficiency by 24.9% and generating electricity. The findings suggest that HISG can significantly enhance energy efficiency and occupant comfort in modern architecture.
