Individual and Combined Associations Between Cardiorespiratory Fitness and Grip Strenght With Comum Mental Desorders by ana.irisa.caetano is a document available to read on EtoBox.
This study investigates the associations between cardiorespiratory fitness (CRF) and grip strength with common mental disorders like depression and anxiety in a cohort of 152,978 UK Biobank participants over seven years. Results indicate that lower levels of CRF and grip strength are significantly associated with higher odds of developing these mental disorders, suggesting that both fitness markers are modifiable risk factors. The findings support public health strategies that promote aerobic and resistance
