The molecule of the title compound, C~10~H~10~N~2~OS, is not planar, with a dihedral angle of 14.8 (2)° between the planes of the benzene and thiazole rings. Molecules are linked by intermolecular N—H...O and N—H...N hydrogen bonds between the amino H atoms and O and N atoms of the methoxy group and thiazole ring, respectively, forming an infinite chain.
