In Mozambique, over 1.3 million students are now learning in their mother tongues, a significant increase from just 700 students in 2003. The Ministry of Education and Culture reports that there are currently 21,027 classes teaching in native languages, which has improved learning outcomes. An Action Plan was launched to ensure all school-age children have access to education, promoting inclusion regardless of language or background.
