Cesarean Delivery Risks: Obesity & GDM Study by arifahprilia26 is a document available to read on EtoBox.
This study investigates the associations between obesity, gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM), and the risk of cesarean delivery using data from the NHANES 2005–2018. The findings indicate that both obesity and GDM independently increase cesarean delivery risk, with a significant synergistic effect when both conditions are present. Additionally, the body roundness index (BRI) is shown to be a stable alternative to body mass index (BMI) for predicting cesarean delivery risk.
