What is Angus Vocational Learning Overview about?
Vocational learning in Angus has expanded significantly in recent years. Uptake of accredited vocational courses has risen over 100% since 2008, with over 400 S3/4 pupils now taking vocational options each year. Two new Vocational Learning Centres have opened to increase access to vocational opportunities. Schools are increasingly delivering accredited vocational courses on-site with college and employer support. Employers are also becoming more involved in supporting vocational courses.
