Can I read 8086 Microprocessor Overview on EtoBox?

8086 Microprocessor Overview by Rishabh Mehta is a document available to read on EtoBox.

What is 8086 Microprocessor Overview about?

The 8086 is a 16-bit microprocessor with registers like AX, BX, CX, DX for storing data. It uses macros which allow commonly used sequences of instructions to be defined and then invoked with a simple name and arguments. Macros are defined using the MACRO and ENDM directives and can include parameters that are substituted when the macro is invoked. For example, a multAX_by_16 macro is defined to shift AX left by 4 bits, multiplying it by 16, and this macro is then invoked on the value in AX.
