What is Landscape Urbanism: Key Examples about?

This document summarizes the concept of landscape urbanism in 3 paragraphs. Landscape urbanism views landscape as central to urban design thinking rather than as an afterthought. It emerged in response to failures of modernist planning and as a way to reimagine post-industrial sites. Examples given are the High Line in New York and Cheonggyecheon in Seoul, which transformed abandoned infrastructure into well-used public parks.
