Our school held a National Day celebration on August 31st, 2011. The event began at 8am with an opening ceremony followed by a march past of school societies and clubs. Next, the national anthem was sung as the flag was raised. Cultural performances including dances and rhythmic gymnastics followed. Despite the heat, the celebration was a success and helped students appreciate their country and feel patriotic.
