Can I read Challenges in Instruction Learning on EtoBox?

Challenges in Instruction Learning by Ujwal Tickoo is a document available to read on EtoBox.

What is Challenges in Instruction Learning about?

The document investigates the challenges of instruction learning, particularly in the context of large transformer models interpreting regular expressions (RegExs) as instructions for tasks. It identifies key properties that complicate instruction learning, such as imprecise instructions and the need for tracking longer contexts. The authors introduce a challenging dataset called Hard RegSet to benchmark instruction learning capabilities and highlight the limitations of current models in this area.
