What is Ractopamine about?

This study examined the effects of compensatory growth and ractopamine supplementation on growth and body composition in pigs. Thirty-four pigs were either fed ad libitum throughout the study or fed a restricted diet for 8 weeks before being fed ad libitum. Half the pigs received a diet supplemented with ractopamine.
