This study compared oral hygiene habits and oral hygiene status in elementary school children in urban and rural areas. It involved 30 subjects from an urban elementary school (MIN Mesjid Raya) and 30 subjects from a rural elementary school (MIN Durung). Oral hygiene habits were assessed using questionnaires, while oral hygiene status was examined using the OHI-S index. Statistical analysis found a significant relationship between oral hygiene habits and status between urban and rural children (p<0.05). The
