Protect Chicago by Unlockourjobs is a document available to read on EtoBox.

What is Protect Chicago about?

The document discusses the issue of Asian carp migration into Lake Michigan and proposals to close locks on the Chicago waterway to prevent it. It argues that lock closures would severely harm the regional economy while providing little environmental benefit, as carp could still pass through closed locks. It proposes alternative options to combat carp migration without harming navigation, including barriers, targeted fishing, and research.
