and fat mass, and their prognostic determinants to the survival of nonmetastatic NSCLC patients. Methods: A retrospective cohort study was conducted between January 2008 and December 2012. Among 130 non-metastatic NSCLC patients diagnosed in this study period, 88 of them had available computed tomography for assessing paravertebral skeletal muscle, subcutaneous adipose tissue (SAT), and visceral adipose tissue (VAT) at the 3 rd lumbar vertebra level. The correlations of body compositions were analyzed using Spearman correlation. Cox regression analysis was used to identify the prognostic markers.
