What is Aboriginal Art: Community and Success about?

Aboriginal art is created individually by artists but is rooted in community ownership and approval, serving as a spiritual map for the community. Today, communities operate as cooperatives with art advisers facilitating the sale and distribution of proceeds. The success of Aboriginal painting has led to high market values, with some works selling for over $180,000, fostering a dialogue between Aboriginal and Western cultures.
