What is Comparator Circuits and VHDL Design about?
An iterative comparator circuit can compare two n-bit values X and Y by comparing the bits one at a time using a single bit EQi at each step to keep track of whether all the bit-pairs have been equal so far. The circuit contains n identical comparator modules, each of which has primary inputs and outputs and cascading inputs and outputs. The leftmost cascading inputs are called boundary inputs and provide initial values, while the rightmost cascading outputs provide the final comparison results. Iterative c
