What is Poetry@Federation Square Events about?

Poetry@fedsquare is a free monthly poetry reading program that has been running since 2006 at Federation Square in Melbourne. It features both published authors reading for 20 minutes each as well as open mic readers with new, unpublished works. Over 1000 poets, translators, and authors from various backgrounds have participated. The event aims to provide a public platform for new voices and works in both English and other languages.
