What is Texas COVID-19 Executive Order Update about?

Governor Greg Abbott issued a proclamation amending Executive Order GA-26 relating to the expanded reopening of Texas during the COVID-19 pandemic. The amendment modifies paragraph 5 of GA-26 to allow county judges or mayors to impose additional restrictions on outdoor gatherings estimated to be over 100 people, in consultation with local health authorities. This proclamation remains in effect as long as GA-26 is in effect, unless otherwise changed by the Governor.
