About this document
Photosynthesis: Process and Components by 3DSツTRĪCKSHØT is a document available to read on EtoBox.
Plants convert solar energy into chemical energy through the process of photosynthesis. During photosynthesis, plants use carbon dioxide, water and sunlight to produce glucose and oxygen. Chloroplasts in plant cells contain chlorophyll which absorbs sunlight and drives the photosynthesis reaction that splits water and fixes carbon dioxide into sugars like glucose. This glucose provides a source of food and energy for plants and is also passed through food chains to provide energy for all other organisms.
