What is Understanding Music Cadences about?

This document discusses different types of cadences in music: - Authentic cadences use a dominant chord followed by a tonic chord and can be perfect or imperfect. - Plagal cadences use a IV chord followed by a I chord. - Half cadences end on a V or viio chord, sounding incomplete. - Deceptive cadences take the dominant chord to another chord other than the expected tonic.
