What is English 1301 Reflection Portfolio about?

Norberto Cardenas reflects on the growth of his writing skills over the course of English 1301. He began with a genre analysis and ended with creating a portfolio website. For the website, he revised his essays to accommodate a general audience rather than his original intended audience of his professor and classmates. He tailored his language and structure to be accessible to the public. Creating the portfolio helped him apply skills like proofreading and peer review that were taught throughout the course.
