What is Nanosized β-CaGP Toothpaste Study about?

This study evaluates the remineralizing potential of toothpastes containing nanosized β-calcium glycerophosphate (β-CaGPn) in comparison to micrometric β-CaGP (β-CaGPm) and fluoride. Results showed that the addition of 0.25% β-CaGPn to fluoride toothpaste significantly improved enamel remineralization, with higher surface hardness recovery and reduced mineral loss. The findings suggest that incorporating nanosized β-CaGP in fluoride toothpaste enhances its effectiveness in combating dental caries.
