by Oltos, signed by Chachrylion, from Etruria, ARV2 59, 57. A new Oltos cup.-Cup, inv. I4268 (pls. 336 and 337, i), "may also" be by the Ashby Painter (ARV2 454-5), ARV2 1583, 2 and I654. Johansen compares the style of I, Youth with hare, with that of London E 46 (Proto-Panaetian Group, ARV2 315, i); the subject is the same, but, apart from sharing general "Euphronian" characteristics, the styles are not related.-Frag. of cup, inv. 1913 (pl. 337, 2), "not far from" earlier work of Triptolemos Painter (ARV2 360-7), ARV2 1648, btm., no. 2. Johansen speaks of another fragment of the same cup in Oslo; Beazley says they "appear to be by one hand, and might even be from one cup." Alabastron, inv. 9404 (pl. 337, 3). Johansen places this in the Group of the Paidikos Alabastra, and it is like them, but Beazley does not include it; it was first published in 1933.-Pelike, inv. 13406 (pl. 339), by the Achilles Painter (A) and the Westreenen Painter (B), ARV2 990, 47 and Ioo6, 3; "Class of the Achilles Painter's Pelikai," ARV2 I676.-Loutrophoros hydria, inv. 9080 (pl. 341, 2 and 342). Beazley now agrees (ARV2 841, 75) with Johansen (op.cit., CVA 8 on pl. 340) that it is by the Sabouroff Painter
